This broadside is part of the Fragments series and corresponds to the letterpress book Splinter of Light. Each broadside in the series features an image panel, a fragment from a portrait of my father. This poem comes from Collins' book Nine Horses (Random House, 2002), and has been reprinted with permission from the author. The title of the book Splinter of Light comes from the last stanza of this poem. Letterpress printed from metal types and reduction linoleum block on Hahnemuhle Biblio paper.
